With a calm and reassuring approach, we provide general medical appointments for babies, children and adolescents. With our many years of medical experience, we’ve seen our patient families through many ordinary development checks and less ordinary medical issues and crises.

We know as parents ourselves how worrying it can be when a child is unwell. A same-day appointment is what we aim for. With our strong relationships with specialists and consultants, there’s every chance of getting fast-track referrals and screenings for our younger patients.

We’re a family-friendly practice and confidently provide a positive experience for you and your child.

  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Contraception
  • Menopause
  • Smears and breast screening

With years of experience, we take a holistic approach with consideration for family medical history as an indicator of potential issues. By treating up to three generations of the same family, we can take a lifetime view from puberty through to post menopause and put background risks into context.

Hormonal imbalances in women can have many health repercussions throughout a patient’s lifetime. Having an understanding of how to rebalance the hormones can ease the transition from puberty onwards.

We take a blended approach to treating menopause symptoms with a keen interest in both body identical and bio identical treatments. We can prescribe pharmaceutically licensed bespoke hormone therapy treatments and advise on bio-identical hormone replacement treatment.

See more information here on menopause.

  • Children’s vaccinations
  • Adult vaccinations

Standard vaccinations for children starting from one-year old’s can be provided by our Windsor Private GP practice. A schedule of jabs is required and we’re happy to discuss any concerns you may have and new developments in vaccine research.

For our older patients, there is a shingles vaccine available after the age of 50. The vaccine is proving remarkably effective at reducing the risk of getting this common but painful skin disease.

eConsultations

  • Comprehensive health checks
  • Wellbeing services
  • Preventative approach

We carry out our own bespoke health screening, which enables us to tailor your blood and imaging investigations.

General wellbeing services start with comprehensive health checks for men, women and children.

Development and health checks for children are individual to their needs. We seek to reassure both parents and children in our treatment process – navigating anxiety around health, supporting the family and signposting where necessary. There is no tick-box approach. With years of experience, we can gauge the impact a health concern has on a patient and their family and tailors the approach accordingly.

Employment medical checks are carried out for patients who need to verify their health as required before starting a new role in certain industries and occupations.

For senior executives with busy jobs, stress can take a toll on health and wellbeing. A consultation with us can put physical ailments into perspective in the context of lifestyle, providing an opportunity to take responsibility for a healthier future. Take control back by tackling health problems sooner rather than later, with a private GP appointment and expert advice. Referrals can be made for follow up screenings and a preventative approach.

  • Regular checkups
  • Health screening
  • Blood tests
  • MRI and CT scans on site

Prevention medicine refers to the proactive approach we take to keeping our patients from getting ill. Our aim is to minimise sickness and detect illness early for the best chance of recovering quickly.

In our prevention medicine approach, we  screen patients for common diseases to alleviate potential problems and promote healthy behaviours.

Taking this approach works well for us and our patients as we’re taking care to analyse risk factors, hereditary issues and environmental factors for a 360-degree view of your overall health.

Once we’ve identified any issues, we can go about tackling them with a mix of medication, lifestyle and nutrition changes, counselling for emotional wellbeing and signposting to other support services.

The goal of preventative medicine is ultimately to prevent disease, disability and death.

Optimum health is our aim for all of our patients and their families.

With the world changing at an ever-increasing pace, more and more patients appreciate the availability of our online or phone consultations.

Online consultations are offered to existing patients but initial consultations must be face to face.  Online calls are a convenient solution for when an in-person consultation is not possible.

For some patients, it means that a move out of the area doesn’t necessarily mean they have to change their trusted family doctor. We have an excellent reputation in Windsor and many of our patients were introduced through word of mouth while living in the area. Many of these patients have continued to have online appointments and there are patients all over the world who request online consultations with us for continuity of care.

The system has proven beneficial to us too, as we can provide continued, seamless care for our patients. Prescriptions can be collected at The Princess Margaret Hospital pharmacy and other pharmacies with whom we have a professional relationship.

Online appointments are provided via NHS-approved, GDPR compliant, secure video call providers. You may need to download an app or a computer program, so you’re safe in the knowledge that your consultation is completely secure and private.
